Thematic Learning Organization
Thematic Learning Organization is a nonprofit organization located in South Pasadena, California. Thematic was formed in 2014 by women who saw a need to bridge the gap between the underemployed and business owners who lacked skilled professional staff. Over the years the organization has expanded to include financial literacy education and has partnered with community leaders, professional athletes, and business owners to heighten awareness around how money works and the importance of building a solid financial foundation.

What We Do
Equipping Individuals with Knowledge and Skills
Our mission is to stamp out financial illiteracy by educating people on how money works and showing them how to make it work for them. We teach the skills and knowledge they need to achieve financial stability and independence regardless of what’s happening in the world around us.
Through our partnership with corporations, state and local government, public schools, and nonprofit organizations like Shelter 37 & the NFL Alumni-Southern California Chapter, we are changing communities one family at a time.
And we don’t stop there…for individuals who want to take a different path and pursue their passion and purpose, we offer education and workshops in entrepreneurship.

Connecting Youth to a Brighter Future
My Next Chapter is an educational and motivational program that provides former foster youth that age out of the system and youth from the community with real life skill sets to help them in their transition into adulthood and give them an opportunity to secure employment and/or start their own business.
